New wave disco from this New York turn currently making a name for themselves supporting The Rapture on their UK tour. It could have done with some judicious lyrical editing, as the sheer number of words packed into each line leave the tune straining at the seams like a last-minute suitcase. The rushed delivery is obviously meant to convey urgency – although what’s so urgent about a county fair we don’t know – but it just has the effect of someone trying to sing ‘In Da Club’ to the theme from ‘Chokablock’.
