When frontman Preston moved in with Pete ‘frog lips’ Burns last year, The Ordinary Boys got stuck between a rock and a quarry: do they please ‘Big Brother’ viewers or regain the old fans? Here they attempt both, with polished guitar pop tempered by tongue-in-cheek tales of vacuous celebrity life. But you get the impression that he’s enjoyed life after ‘BB’, or we’d hear something more interesting than this insipid fare.
