Industrial-folk two-piece No Bra are a kind of anti-Scissor Sisters – defiantly low-tech, drily uncamp and with a less inclusive, more Greer-ish attitude to sexual politics. And tunes. We have to warn you that only four of the songs on this record have what could be recognised as a melody. What the Bra and Sisters do share is a sick sense of humour, as on underground hit ‘Munchausen’, which comes on like an obscene Tony Hancock sketch lampooning the boho clubberatti.
