They’re touring with Muse, so restraint was never on the cards for this trio, but this is far better focused, more taut and less showily try-hard than their previous efforts. A choppy, appealingly feral thing with nods to PJ Harvey and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, they’ve thoughtfully left a Van Halen-shaped space in which you can play air guitar. Like, cool.
