You’d have thought that, fame having eluded Idlewild for nigh-on ten years now, lead singer Roddy Woomble would have thrown in the towel and bought a pub, or something. Instead, we have this nondescript slice of wailing Brit-punk that sounds like it could have been made any time in the last 20 years (in a bad way).
