  • There really is no way of ignoring the early Spiritualized comparisons here. Nor those with Spacemen 3 – Sonic Boom even appears on the album. But to settle on just that would do a disservice to this London band who also introduce soaring, quasi-classical workouts into their ethereal mix. And Earworm don’t release just anything. In the past, they’ve put out much sought-after records by Apples In Stereo, The Earlies, Spacemen 3 and Yo La Tengo. That’s as good a recommendation as any.

Got this album and love it - if you dig the Velvets and music that takes you away someplace else, then prepare for satisfaction!
