Not much changes in the lovelorn world of Swedish-born Düne brothers David-Ivar and André. Cult indie faves (and Peel session veterans), this is their seventh album of dark ’n’ droll, regret ’n’ whisky-sodden pop. With the addition of backing girls The Woo-Woos, though, they’re getting closer to that ’60s sound they’ve aspired to all along, which (in their heads at least) sounds like Jonathan Richman backed by The Crystals.
