After the promise of ‘The Get Go’, ‘Get Dancey’ and ‘Ice Cream’ the latest instalment from London disco-rockers NYPC is a bit of a damp squib. It starts off well with some distorted, groovesome bass, but then they attempt epic and euphoric. Instead of taking off, though, they fall rather flat. Deadpan and slinky suited them much, much better.
