Far better than the A-side, ‘Tell Your Friends’, this Manchester quintet – some of whom used to work with Jim Noir – have crafted a fine, psychotropic pop freakout that suggests I Am Kloot playing with Dead Meadow. Extra points for the unsettling phased animal noises, too.
