  • Less an album, more what the older generation used to refer to as an EP, the latest release by these Parisian makers ‘of electronic music that is not afraid to scare people’ warrants the extra attention on account of both its length – more than 40 minutes – and of the quality that is prevalent throughout. Five versions of ‘Shining Bright Star’ there may be (the Zongamin reshuffle being the pick, if you’re the sort who likes those helpful ‘BURN!’ boxes at the bottom of reviews), but make no mistake: there is more invention contained within each than there is on most techno losers’ long-players.
