  • Three urchin subway musicians (or so they claim, and who wants to spoil a good story?), from New York State , The Felice Brothers’ debut sounds like outtakes from ‘The Basement Tapes’, saucy-like (‘Pull off your pantyhose/Let me love you from behind’). Brothers Simone (yup), Ian and James take it in turns to sing lead on rolling, ‘Big Pink’-style folk ballads, while the other two harmonise behind, and the result is scruffy and scratched Americana that recalls Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, early Springsteen and, of course, Bob Dylan.

Felice Brothers are headed straight to the top-Baby Boomers out there are sure to be won over by their 60's style-go see them live-you wont be disappointed-they get better and more comfortable with just "Having a good time' singing for the crowd. Always an amazing show!
