She’s a Manhattan singer-poet with three much-praised albums to her name; he's the drummer of recent ATP curators Dirty Three. They’ve played together before, but this is the first time an album has borne both of their names, and the result – consisting solely of drums, guitar and voice – is a raw, adventurously arranged set of songs, with White’s ever-evolving rhythms as much to the fore as the sweet tones of his playmate.
