Better known as the man behind avant-hip hop giants Prefuse 73, prolific soundscapist Guillermo Scott Herren drops the beats and the glitch for an album of long and winding Latin ambience, reaching back to his Central and South American roots and placing them in the now to craft a majestic, futuristic folk album, helped out by José González on one track. It will appeal to fans of early Animal Collective and Juana Molina.
