Multi-lingual indie hipster duo who’ve previously released albums on Kill Rock Stars, the same label that used to house Gossip, but this lot aren’t going to break through in quite the same way though. Why? They sing (mostly) in French and German and they’ll appeal only to fans of sickly-sweet, kitschy curio-pop… and looking at the charts, there aren’t too many of them. Still, this is a catchy, groovy mix of lo-fi chanson, Casio yeh-yeh and badly recorded punk rock.
