Such is the kids-on-Skittles energy of this third album from Melbourne’s sextet, whichever style they try on,
be it the Casio-cheap, Salt-N-Pepa-inspired madness of ‘Red Turned White’ or disco-EMF of ‘Debbie’, they sound a little too much like the Muppet Babies for comfort. Full marks for boundless energy and a willingness to try new things, but it’s too silly to encourage further listening.
