Records with rampant dual drumming aren’t often met with flowery, pastoral descriptions but, over four albums, Dan Snaith (formerly Manitoba) has made this his aim. And he’s spot on again, drenching the frenzied heat of percussion and electronic loops in melodies so luxurious as to recall The Beach Boys. And not only does he get better with every album, he’s also got a PhD in maths. What about sharing that talent around a bit?
