  • Fuck Buttons are balanced finely on the tipping point throughout this thrilling debut, rocking between blissful, melodic beauty and boding evil, sometimes in the same song, and almost exclusively by way of fuzzy, thrumming drones, toy piano and screaming in tongues. It’s a textural masterpiece that updates Brian Eno’s ambient ideals and anyone who calls this a ‘noise’ album should be ashamed.

Only thing I can't believe is that this album didn't get the full 6 out of 6 rating. In fact, it's worthy of an entirely new rating, far beyond the bounds of anything that's come before.
This is the greatest piece of music to come out of Britain in a long, long time, so it really is worth some serious mentioning...
