Reworking popular American folk standards with electronica and guitars in a manner more reminiscent of downtempo trip-hop, Anna Domino (sometime of Les Disques du Crepuscule and Factory Records cult fame, and a big influence on Portishead) and Belgian instrumentalist Michel Delory were landed with the 'future of folk' tag when they released their debut album 'Songs From My Funeral' in 1999.
