Time Out says

This evening of globally focused music, song and dance is a fundraising event to help girls in Tanzania who are at risk of female genital mutilation.

Artists performing include Tanzinian musician and writer Freddy Macha, percussionist Nadia Al Faghih Hassan Zimbabwean duo Sokoshumba, singer-songwriter Nakisha (inventor of 'opera reggae', a genre which she uses to rework the Spice Girls' 'Spice Up Your Life'), Hackney musician and singer Lora Linhares Marx and the Hackney Harmony community choir, plus DJs. There will also be Tanzinian food available.

A very good cause, creative music from across the globe and a fun, friendly atmosphere. Three fine reasons to attend.
