Honey, I shrunk The Beatles! Irish lads The Strypes make One Direction look like The Rolling Stones: they're all still in their teens, and have already sold out the Electric Ballroom and supported Arctic Monkeys. We wouldn't be surprised if one or more of them has a pushy parent who's played the boys a lot of British and Irish rhythm ’n’ blues records from the ’60s, and encouraged them to get the appropriate pudding-bowl haircuts. But they're impressively skilled for their age, and present a scarily convincing facsimile of the era's best bands – complete with Bo Diddley covers – despite being too young to remember The Libertines, let alone The Yardbirds.
