Right, so let's have a review of this pub now that it's had its six figure sum makeover and re-opened. Food is very, very good, burgers, fries and a chicken dish had by others all went down well. But. The. Beer. I don't think I've ever seen Dead Pony Club (Brewdog) and Yakima Red (Meantime) on sale. On. Draught. Wow. Fantastic knowledge as well behind the bar for recommendations for my 76 year old Dad. Now hooked on the Pony. I didn't even mention Redemption also on tap and revolving guest ales... Great little pub.
A great place for a Sunday roast or a couple of pints after work that, among my group of friends at least, is becoming known for making the best Bloody Marys in London. We've had some very good Sunday roasts in here and the grand, spacious interior is the perfect anecdote to the crowded carnage of London.
Although a good venue I'd advice all to be vigilant about personal property since thieves operate there. I had my handbag stolen recently and since there is no cctv trained on the seating areas there is no way to identify who did it.
