Consistently compelling live, the 11-strong Tinariwen are a band of Tuaregs from the Sahara who perform in their traditional robes, sing mostly in French and Tamashek and use electric guitars to play exciting, mesmeric, intoxicating desert blues. Mercury Prize nominated folkie Lee supports.
