Mackenzie Scott – a 24-year-old singer-songwriter from Georgia via Nashville via Brooklyn – performs minimal rock with a touch of cello, some keys, her ‘screaming’ electric guitar and a voice caked in brittle desperation. After making an initial impact with her 2013 debut album ‘Torres’, she returns to perform raw, slow-boiling songs from her follow-up ‘Sprinter’.
