The main auditorium's supporting pillars mean there are some poor sightlines, but this one-time railway turntable shed, used for hippie happenings in the 1960s before becoming a famous rock (and punk) venue in the '70s, has been a fine addition to London's music venues since its reopening in 2006. Expect a mix of arty rock gigs, dance performances, theatre and multimedia events.
