Proud Cabaret Camden (as well as their City branch) makes for a great night out! The burlesque, the surprise acts (really - go check it out!) and the singers are all brilliant! Having seen quite a few burlesque shows in London over the past 2 years - Proud Cabaret remains one of my favourites! They always put on a great show! Their staff are very engaging too! I recommend going for the show and drinks only! However, if you feel like a bite - their three course dinner is OK. Definitely one of London's best cabaret venues!

Going to a cabaret night can be a little risky, and not everyone is going to enjoy a show with uniforms, a sex swing and paddles. Of course, Proud Camden does a variety of cabaret, gigs, and private booths (stables) but I wanted something unique and there's not much out there that panders to the new crowd of cabaret explorers without scaring them away for good. There are rules, but you can bend them and you can participate in 50 Shades of Cabaret or make it clear you're just there for the show. And it is an impressive show... The night opens with music and the vocal talent in the room makes a brilliant start. It's followed by some the prettiest and most unique burlesque acts in London - not even the gay men in the room could claim to be disappointed. No one gets the hardcore treatment and if you choose to be a voyeur, instead of a participant, then you're never uncomfortable and you can change your mind when you've had a couple of drinks. I'm not giving away anything about the show that follows but we promise it is truly mesmerising and perfect for friends or couples.

Love this place, and it always ends up being the centre of my Camden nights out. Professional staff, nice areas and good drinks. Consistently good nights out.
