  • It's relatively small, having just two small dance floors. It's fun to go to once or twice, but it's always packed and crammed full of people with no space to dance. I don't recommend booking a stable either.

  • I hired a stable for my birthday and had a really awful experience with the staff....they have no clue how to treat guests ...doesn't matter you are spending lot of money! really pretentious people...I don't think they will go anywhere with this attitude! For sure I'm not going back!

  • very disappointed- went to Proud on Saturday, my friend had organised us to be on a guest list, free before 9 guaranteed entry before 10. We arrived at 8.30 to a huge disorganised queue, everyone in this queue was on some kind of guest list. The club did not actually open its doors until 9 (so impossible to get in free) some of the friends I was with got closer to the front than me and got in free at 9.20 but they tried to charge me £8 at 9.35... staff were very very rude and unhelpful- there seemed to be different types of guestlist which was confusing...no one seemed clear what was going on... Never going there again!

  • Wow i can't believe you had such a bad night that you had to write about it from the venue! Everytime i go to Proud i have a great time, it's always full of interesting people, good music and it's a really beautiful venue. Each night of the week is different.. with different promoters.. different bands.... sometimes electro, sometimes rock, sometimes indie, sometimes spoken word and R&B.... and a different crowd so i would not generalize.

  • I'm at Proud now and it's really lost its vibe. The cool kids have gone and been replaced with out-of-towners who push and shove and wear pseudo-hipster clothes that I think I saw in the window of MadHouse. The music's gone downhill too. Londoners steer clear! I'm leaving now :-(
