Time Out says

Former members of the hugely influential stoner rock band Kyuss are back together to thrash out more of the same kind of heavy, sludgy, incredibly loud desert metal that their old band used to make.

Alongside Josh Homme (now leader of Queens Of The Stone Age), John Garcia, Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork were all members of the Kyuss line-up who made the band's self-titled debut and their brilliant follow-up 'Blues for the Red Sun' in 1991-92. In 2011 Garcia invited Oliveri and Bjork on tour as Kyuss Lives!, before Homme and Kyuss bassist Scott Reeder hit them with a lawsuit and forced them to rename themselves as Visto Chino.

That's the long version of the story, but all you really need to know is that if you come along to this gig you'll be hit in the face with twenty tonnes of premium-grade rock ’n’ roll, including original Kyuss songs and new tracks.

Oh, and don't be alarmed if there are a few odd-looking people in the audience: this show is part of the Roundhouse's Nightmare Halloween festival, and fancy dress is encouraged.
