Named ironically after an early nineties Jodie Foster film, Little Man Tate
are a Sheffield four-piece who have leapt to prominence with their
humourous songs of cybersex, cross-dressing footballers and bisexual
menage a trois.They played On The Up at the the Islington Academy on Thursday August
17. Citing the likes of Pulp, The Clash and Blur as influences, their
indie pop sound is starting to capture the attention of industry pros:
