On The Up wasn't for the faint-of-heart last month. Headlining were
sweaty London trio Cutting Pink With Knives, a band who run electropop
off the rails and into the badlands of arty skronk, post-hardcore and
deranged noise.
Suitably leftfield support was supplied by new Warp signing, Pivot and oddbods Agaskodo
Teliverek, a Hungarian-Japanese band whose name means 'rearing
stallions'.
