Guillemots Rob Greig
February 2006
Kicking off on February 23 with a blend of experimental, post-punk, eccentricity were Guillemots, who caused quite a stir thanks to their
ability to mix an experimental, post-punk edge with a definite knack
for good old-fashioned guitar pop.Young, bespectacled and promising Jeremy Warmsley followed in the same, vaguely Beck-like footsteps as Tom Vek but added a sweet, fleet-footed touch with his delightful melodies and fragile voice (think a middle-class Billy Bragg).
