Benjamin Barker – now calling himself Sweeney Todd (and looking like Johnny Depp) – returns to stinking Victorian London with something of a large chip on his shoulder: years earlier he was sent to a penal colony in Australia by a corrupt judge (Alan Rickman), and in the process lost his family and successful barber's business. Now it's revenge that he's after, both on the judge and the rest of humanity, as he sets up a salon with a difference. On London's bustling Fleet Street he offers customers the closest shave they've ever had.
