Alice In Wonderland

The Barbican heralds the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll's great nonsense novels with the UK premiere of Unsuk Chin's first opera 'Alice In Wonderland'. Netia Jones directs the piece, which is a modern take on the Victorian classic and features drawings by Gonzo artist Ralph Steadman, a chessboard floor and a host of animated characters that mix with the real ones.
