Peter Grimes

David Alden's production of Benjamin Britten's haunting opera about Peter Grimes, the fisherman in a small village who is mistrusted by the community after his apprentice is killed is revived by ENO for the first time since 2009.  Edward Gardner conducts the score, while Australian tenor Stuart Skelton returns to the title role. The performance will be filmed and broadcast in cinemas on Feb 23.
