Js Bach's oratorio 'St John Passion' is presented in English.
Eclectic Voices and the Sweelinck Ensemble directed by Scott Stroman, with Aidan Codburn (tenor), Emily Atkinson (soprano), Clara Kanter (alto), David Soar (bass) and Cheyney Kent (bass).
(The Good Friday Project at Union Chapel offers people an open opportunity for contemplation and to hear live religious music from 3.15pm every Good Friday, of professional standard, telling something of the Easter story. This is a free event for the community, donations welcome.)
