We used a company called Yes Removals for our house move. They were great, gave us great advice, turned up on time, worked well and even went the extra mile and did some dismantling for us. They weren't the cheapest that we had a quote from but I always believe in the motto 'you get what you pay for' and for such a large move I just didn't want the stress, so I went with them as they were recommended by a friend.

We were very pleased with the service we received: they supplied a Luton Van and two professional,helpful and polite movers who arrived on time and worked extremely hard. They got the job done very quickly and nothing was too much trouble for them.
We would definitely use Best Rates Removals again.

We have used safe removals,
The crew arrived on time, very friendly and nice, They have provided very good packing service using a lot of protecting covers and bubble wrap. When they got to our new home, we had everything assembled and all boxes put into each room.
It was very relaxing experience having experienced crew doing the proper service.
We were impressed with their hard work and professionalism

I can highly Recommend Ois removals who I found from reading the comments here, I found this company to be very refreshing and a pleasure to deal with, they arrived on time, the guys were very pleasant, done everything properly, wrapped the mattress in plastic, protected the tv and furniture properly and didnt charge me for anything except the removal service, no travel times, congestion, lunch break etc, they even took away some rubbish and a broken bed for free as they said it could all be recycled, Big thumbs up

I used Dolphin Movers Ltd for an international move. Distaster. Delivery very late, as it sat in LA for 2.5 months racking up fees. I had to pay, again!, to get control of my posessions. Dolphin proved derelict. Went to arbitration against them and won a hollow victory of 5100.00 GBP. Of couse rouge traders who do not honor their contracts also do not pay damages to those they treat poorly! Use them at your peril.

just beware that there is a lot of false feedback out there which makes it really difficult to choose a company. Review sites seem to be full of obviously fake 5* feedback presumably placed by the companies themselves. Go with a recommendation from a friend if possible

I have used a London-based company called City Mules on several occasions (2 moves plus individual heavy items taken from one place to another). It always went to plan and I was always extremely impressed with their approach. The removal men were well-mannered, accommodating, patient, efficient and on time and left no mess. All very impressive. Also, their office staff are bilingual French-English, extremely polite and helpful.

We decided to use Movers Not Shakers after reading a positive article on them in Time Out. Our experience was very good.
Mike visited our property at short notice and provided a very reasonable quote - almost half the amount quoted by Pickfords. We booked a date and everything was set.
Our team on the day comprised Clint and Silvio. Both were very nice guys, who worked extremely hard and were very careful with all of our things.
Our well-stocked one bedroom flat was wrapped, boxed, loaded, transported and unloaded in 7.5 hours - no mean feat considering we were moving from the second floor, with no lift. Silvio actually managed to (carefully) take 70 boxes from our top floor flat and load them into the van in 35 minutes. A personal best apparently!
During the move not one item was damaged or broken, and the guys displayed a friendly and helpful attitude throughout.
We would recommend.

We used a company called Rightmove-4u and they were superb, couldnt fault them at all. After having a bad experience before hand these guys renewed our faith in removal men by completing the job fantastically and the cherry on top was the price. They are professional and great value which is something you dont find very much at the moment

I have told that the best moving company in London which I have used moving man and van and am happy with their services.

We recently Used Ois removals for our move, they were great, no complaints from the team even though it was raining and a miserable day, they managed to move everything seamlessly and without damage within the time they said, the men were very pleasant and the office staff very friendly, great customer service and highly recommended

Last February I utilized Home Removal Services to move from one two bedroom flat to another two bedroom flat in South East London.
Attrocious service! For a two bedroom flat located on the first floor I was given an estimated time of 2.5 to 3 hours with a three man team. For starters only two workers arrived 1 hour prior to the specified start time while the other person showed up 2 and a half hours late. While you would expect some milking of the clock as they are being payed by the hour I couldn't believe that they took 7.5 hours! I would stay well clear of this company as they offered a terrible service and did not bother to follow up with me after I complained about this entirely unacceptable business practice
