I've been meaning to leave this review for a month because I was so impressed and happy with my visit! It was only Wednesday but we were a five, and seeing as no one in Soho seems to take bookings anymore, we were worried about getting a table.The manager told us it would be an hour, but we ended up only waiting 30 minutes and I'm really glad we did. The staff were great - our waiter was very attentive and knowledgable, especially with the wine. The food was really delicious, I couldn't fault it. I had the tuna carpaccio to start, which was delicious and peppery, followed by the steak on special. It came perfectly medium rare. For dessert, I had a rhubarb and rice pudding dish, which was nice, but I was envious of the ice cream also at the table - liquorice, white chocolate and waffle, and marsala and date - and the pear tart was incredible. I was really happy to find a restaurant in central London that offers great food that isn't overpriced or gimmicky. I had a really great evening here with my family and look forward to coming back again!

Positive atmosphere, casual and friendly staff. However portion sizes are too small, for example £7.50 for a cheese board to only get three minute slices of cheese. I also advise ordering extra sides with your meal as servings are limited. Nevertheless, wine is good and starters such as the scallops are quite nice. A nice restaurant but doesn't live out the expectations that have been given on this site.

Perfect and friendly service, absolutely delicious food, great wine. Couldn't fault it, really nice evening. All three courses were some of the best food I have eaten!

I never write reviews but this needs to be said.... I had the dish of my life here a couple of weeks ago, was a lemon prawn ravioli! It was out of this world!

Sorry kids, this is the very food that we Antipoedeans are used to having on a regular basis. Modern European? Ask the kitchen where they learned the complexities and intricacies that they include in the food. A shot in the arm for London. A modern palette is all you'll need in order to enjoy. Good food, good wine, good service, good atmos, compliments of the house.

Not perfect. But very, very, very good.

Quite simply phenomenal. The wine list is captivating, beautifully niche and current and the food is never less than one million percent amazing. Highly recommended by my good self who has now eaten there 20 plus times. GO!!

What a fun and delicious night we had here. Well recommend the Smoked Trout starter and delicious wine. do get your names on the list asap when you get to the area. Cant wait to be back.

We ate there last Friday, the food and the service was amazing smoked trout starter was heavenly, lamb shank and belly of pork was divine. Drop by to register for a table early. Great intimate atmosphere love it!
