lovely veiws, pretty romantic atmosphere. Friendly staff and we met the new head chef Amrit who served us the best jerk and beef stew weve ever tasted. we had some some lovely starters on a mix platter with crab claws fritters and some deleicious wings. Chef did an excellent job. restaurant was very quiet though for a friday night, but the service was fast and effecinet and friendly. we will be going back for a birthday party in 3 weeks

Grubby, scruffy place with unfriendly, bored staff and ridiculous prices. Popped in for a drink after our trip over on the Cable car and wished we hadn't. Steer clear!

Visited the place on Sunday evening, 5 of us for dinner. When we arrived we were seated, but shocked to find small eclectic blow heaters attempting (very poorly) to keep the place warm. It was COLD. There was one other table with a couple on it. We sat down, ordered a mixed fish (atlantic) platter to start and than all our mains. The lady came back with our drinks a long while later to than drop one of our drinks all over a neighbouring table, not a big deal, it was a mistake, however LUCKILY it didn’t fall on the small blow heater and electrocute us all. She than arrived with our mains, and they had run out of a few of the starters.. so had substituted many of the fish for chicken. Now bearing in mind it was obvious that some of us didn’t eat meat – that’s why we had ordered this platter and not the one advertised as the meat platter – we asked her to change the chicken stuff for fish, however it took some time for the waitress to understand that if someone has ordered fish, its makes no sense whatsoever to substitute with chicken… esp as she took the orders and it was clear two of the party asked what fish/veg dishes they had. She said she would bring us an extra portion of festival – but would charge us. Someone had to point out that one she should have come to us and told us they were substituting chicken for fish – or that they didn’t have the food before bringing non meat eater chicken. Seriously seriously lacking basic common sense. Although the place was empty, it took about half an hour and a couple of requests for an apple juice and coke. Our mains arrived and to make it worse, they were lukewarm, just above room temperature, it was not heated properly at all. The jerk chicken was basically roast chicken with cold jerk gravy. My curry goat was still congealed as it hadn’t been warmed properly. It was horrible. We more or less gave up at that point in even saying anything. Perhaps they had no electricity at all and was warming all the food up on a candle? For the pleasure of the fine dining, none of us heavy drinkers, I was charged £150, one of us didn’t even have a main course. The place needs to be closed down and reopened as something else, its rubbish. Don’t go there.

The restaurant was in such a beautiful location! I don't normally have Caribbean food but my partner decided he wanted to try it so we went it. I had some beautiful Jerk Chicken while he had the Curry Goat. I think my opinions on Caribbean food have changed and it may have been because of this lovely restaurant. Will definitely go back!

Went there for a group lunch. It was my first time going and I don't think I will be going back. We were seated in a lovely looking restaurant but a totally empty one at that. When the time came for us to order we asked for mains on the menu including the jerk chicken only to be told that half of them weren't available so we decided to just order desert and the story was exactly the same. In the end all of us but one just had a scoop of fancy ice cream (the other person had a salad). We waited for about 30 minutes for the salad to come and another 15 after that for the ice cream- one of us had to go and get the waitress who hadn't even told us what was happening and remind her that we had ordered something! When it finally came she had gotten one of the groups order wrong and had totally forgotten one. One of my friends decided that they were too hungry to keep waiting so left, went to the Tesco's nearby and went home. The ice cream was nice but a Haagen Daz from the Tesco's would have been a much better choice - the wait was definitely not worth it! I wont be going again.
