  • I am afraid I have few positive words to say about COYA. Even if I was able to overlook the 25 minutes wait for a table I had booked two weeks in advance and paid a deposit for; and I was thick skinned enough to disregard the incredibly arrogant and demeaning manager, being a person with a life threatening nut-allergy and being told by the manager that the food was especially made for me by the chef only to be given lobster covered in coconut was unacceptable. If it wasn’t for the diligent guests with me that night, I may have left the restaurant in the care of St Johns ambulance service. Needless to say there was not even an apology offered but we were told to vacate the table, as they needed it for other guests. Please heed my warning, if you have any dietary requirements DO NOT EAT HERE.
