We live in the North of England but started coming here following a visit to the Travelodge across the Road - it actually says Old Street but it's on City Road. It is quiet and unassuming on the outside and gives little clue of the culinary delights inside! My favourite is Xacuti chicken - highly spiced and fairly hot with coconut at a reasonable £10.95 with coconut rice - my not so adventurous daughter swears that the chicken tikka masala is the best ever - anywhere. Suffice to say that whether we are staying in the area or in another part of London - in March we are staying over in Knightsbridge - we will make a special trip over here. Just wish they did a takeaway service to Manchester.
