Time Out says

Please note, this branch of Dirty Burger has now closed. Time Out Food editors, November 2017.

After spending a while moving through various London locations, this Soho House operation eventually settled in a tin-roofed shack round the back from a Pizza East. It’s an unassuming little place, all salvaged wood and rusty chairs with barely enough room for 20 diners. The menu is just as spartan, offering only cheese burgers, fries, onion fries, a tiny breakfast menu and an assortment of drinks – you’re not exactly spoilt for choice. But when your cheese burgers are this close to perfection, you don’t need options. They’re tender, juicy, rammed full of flavour and incredibly simple. The sides are just as good. Skin-on fries and juicy red onion rings, salty and crisp, hit the right spot. The shack is a laid-back affair. You order at the counter and pick up a beer from the fridge, or a Camden Pale Ale on tap, and then top off the whole lot with a milkshake. Tables are on a first-come first-served basis, so the queues can get pretty big, especially midweek, but it’s definitely worth the wait.
