  • What a rip off.Ate there and was served...5 skinny ribs.. a meal ?....come on guys was the hog anorexic ?. If you wont nibble and go there, this is for you...but.... If you want to eat....pass this rip off joint ...walk on by.....You WILL get better value and service at the local greasy spoon and come away with change in your pocket and... also not insulted by the oh so precious staff supposedly serving you. You pay the price, you make the choice ! p.s.... Has Granny left you a nice pile...coz..... if not don't order bottled water...just a tip.

  • Meh. That's all really, just a meh. Not bad, far from great. First disappointment was not having the "que" on during the day although, that was my fault for not checking first but to be fair, I just presumed that a place called Brew & Que would always have both of those elements. The breakfast was tasty though. Then there was our waiter who seemed utterly desperate for us to order. 3 times he approached our table asking us if we were ready to order and 3 times we told him we were still waiting for one of our friends to arrive. "The kitchen closes at 3.30" we were told, it was only 2.30, weird. When she did arrive, she was barely allowed to take her seat when he was back at our table demanding our order, talk about feeling rushed! After we'd all eaten, we were all sitting chatting, having a few drinks when we were told our table was reserved for half an hours time, fair enough, could we move to another table, we asked, no, they're pretty much all reserved we were told. Now, I don't have an issue with tables being reserved, but we should have been told this when we sat down or they should have tried to find us another table. It felt like they didn't care whether we stayed or left, they're the new cool kids on the block and they're going to be busy, customer service not required. Overall, I felt this place was a little too cool for school, all style and little substance. Shame, cos I'd really been looking forward to going and I had been the one to suggest it to all my friends so I left feeling very disappointed in the experience as a whole.

  • I was happy to see a new bbq joint in London as it is one area that is highly lacking. We tried everything as a menu and have to say the best part was the beans. The meat was very tough and gristly with not much flavour. Seems like something was lacking in the rub. It maybe the fact that we have spent time in Lockhart tasting some of the best bbq that we might be expecting to much. Maybe with time it will get better but allot of work will be needed for us to go back.

  • Went on a Tuesday night with 3 friends. We all ordered Ribs and one had a steak; of the 4 plates that arrived, one dish was cold and another was overdone. We asked for some English mustard and they brought an empty bottle. The manager's explanation was "they just don't care tonight" - referring to the kitchen. Whilst his honesty was refreshing, he failed to offer any compensation. Wouldn't go back because if you are only going to offer 5 or 6 dishes and you're 'known' for your Ribs then they should be great and ours were not...

  • Not a good experience. Arrived at 1630 - said we wanted to eat but was told food wasn't available until 1800. Said we would wait - and ordered cocktails only to be told at 1740 that our table was needed and we had to leave. Waitress was quite rude - offered us free drinks which was nice, but told us it was 21 pounds so we should be grateful. The cocktails were ordinary -and the side dish of okra and pickles we had was tasteless. Avoid.

  • nice vibe, average food my ribs were so tough and dry it was hard to chew. flavor was nice. The portion was on the smaller side considering how much they are charging. Pitt Cue is still & definitely the winner in London town.

  • It's good. great beer selection. Good atmosphere. But not amazing. N1's Talbot or Scolt Head are possibly better for food. Or, best of all, Prince Arthur nearby in E8.

  • Food was good, but the service shocking, waited 15 mins for our drinks order before asking another waiter for it, finally managed to order (Sunday Brunch- BBQ omelette very good) then again had to ask twice for the bill before giving up and standing at the till point to pay.
