Eat Tokyo Covent Garden

This Catherine Street venue is the Covent Garden branch of a five-strong chain of Japanese restaurants. It's from the same group behind Golders Green's Shabu Shabu, too. This one does well with Drury Lane theatre-goers.

As with the other branches, here it's mostly about recognisable Japanese staples. Expect, then, sushi and sashimi alongside dishes such as vegetable tempura, various donburi, chicken teriyaki, tofu salads and bento boxes.

Keep an eye out for what look like good-value sushi and sashimi platters, too.
