Alternatively, top wine writer Tim Atkins runs a six-week beginner’s course at the lovely Bank restaurant in Aldwych, while the newly opened Planet of the Grapes wine shop (formerly online only) in the West End has a Tasting Cellar that can be privately booked for up to 24 people.
