  • Fish & Grill
    Malcolm John, of Le Vacherin in Chiswick and Le Cassoulet in Croydon, will be launching his seafood and grill concept in South Croydon this December. The 80-cover restaurant will serve fresh fish sourced from Brighton, Eastbourne and Cornwall and quality meat.

    Cinnamon Kitchen

    J Sheekey fish restaurant is opening a more casual seafood bar next door in the ‘late autumn’, which will be no-bookings.

    The Luxe
    A new café-bar from John Torode on the site that used to be the Spitz music bar on Old Spitalfields Market. The first floor will house a dining room specialising in game and poultry. Opening 2009.

    The Boundary
    Sir Terence Conran has sold his majority share in what used to be Conran Restaurants, but has a new Shoreditch venture that will incorporate a café, restaurant and rooftop cocktail bar, along with some hotel rooms.

    Bocca di Lupo
    This new Soho opening, which aims to serve regional Italian food, comes from ex-Moro chef Jacob Kennedy and sommelier Victor Hugo.
