You've overlooked the FANTASTIC Loch Fyne Fishmongers in Wimbledon. It might sound all chainy but it stands apart from the restuarants and their fish is as sustainably sourced as it is actually possible. They have a wonderful supplier in Helford, Cornwall, a small family run business who head out at 4 in the morning and have fish in london later that day - and they are passionate about using the most sustainable fishing practices. Trust me, I've been on the boat, you don't get better.
Fin and Flounder in Broadway Market, nice one Mona! As for Billingsgate, the issue is with sustainable fish and I'm not sure that's gonna happen down there.. Cheers everyone!. We can now eat fish in east London! Oh 'appy days are here again! Tra la laa, gor blimey, apples and pairs, warm mi cockles etc etc xx
Why not just go to the source, Billingsgate Seafood Market. This is where all the fishmongers get their produce.
Off the back of a TV programme? But this is dated 2009 so they must have got in there before Hugh?
The reason they dont write pieces like this properly is that it intended purpose is to draw in traffic and improve SEO to the Timeout web site off the back of interest created around some other event (in this case a TV show).
If youre going to do this at least write comprehensive content.
Cheers guys, sorry in so gor blimy guv!
Pete checkout Fin and Flounder in the East.
right with Pete, have a look to the east guys London is not only Chelsea or Ken!
These are all in the west. Of course, we don't eat fish in the East. Sort it out mate!
I found this link to one of your five best places. I am going to visit them as they sound very responsible.
