Mrs Marengo's in Soho, does some glutenfree and vegan cakes and cupcakes, ...so yummy .... they are my favourite
gluten free cupcakes are available at Selfridges, however as they are sold loose from the counter they are only labelled wheat free but check the ingrediants!

In my opinion Jessica Jane definitely makes the best cupcakes!... moist with innovative designs.... love love love...
Libertys for cocktails and cupcakes! :-)
Hey, Does anybody know of any where that does cupcakes and cocktails? There must be somewhere!
Ive tried the cupcakes in Tinderbox in Angel. Love Love Love them. I'm going back for more.
I agree with the latter comments about Lola's. I tried them at Selfridges and they were so dry. i could not believe it. I expected a lot better. The designs did not blow me away either. Not good.
I like Lola's, but it also depends which flavor you try. Oreo and Lemon were lovely, chocolate a bit ordinary.
Ella's bakehouse sells fabolous cupcakes, the Coffe is to die for.
I didn't like Butternut cupcakes, at all. They were more like muffins with some icing.
Love bakery on the Kings's Road - only tried the Rose Water, which was surprisingly good.
Primrose bakery - loved the Mocca, the Lemon was fine, too.
I have yet to try Bea's and Hummingbird Bakery.
I have tasted cupcakes from 'Cat and the Cream' at a farmers market in south east london. They are just as pictured on the website. Coffee cupcake. Superb!
i've started a group to go around looking for the best cupcake in town. if you'd like to join - http://www.meetup.com/London-Cupcakes/
I have to agree with David Blatt and I came across these cupcakes by chance but having tasted the Cat and Cream's cupcakes I find it hard to imagine finding better. Definitely worth seeking them out!
Anyone know where you can get gluten free cupcakes?
Jodie - For devine Vegan , Wheat & Gluten free cupcakes and cakes head to More Tea VIcar, they taste AMAZING even my non vegan friends say they are better than regualr cupcakes! They have a huge menu with some really original flavours as well as the american style classic flavours too - The only bad thing is I can never decide!! They are made to order but I'm hoping they get a shop soon. Contact moreteavicar_kitchen@hotmail.co.uk for a menu/orders.
I've found (and tasted) some beautiful cup cakes when I went to a farmers market in south-east London a couple of weeks ago. Every flavour imaginable. It was run by a young girl. I forget her name but her company's called Cat and the Cream. I've just checked online and they'll be at the farmers market in Lee on Saturday 5 September.
You'll have to queue up behind me though.
