There's a focus on balance at this subterranean restaurant and bar by Monument. The menu concentrates on dishes from China, though Thai, Taiwanese, Malaysian and Japanese influence can also be seen on the a la carte.
Dishes range from dim sum, crispy duck salad, Szechuan spicy fish rolls and General Tang's chicken to braised pork belly in Chinese five spice, golden honey Chilean sea bass, steamed silver cod Cantonese style and grilled wagyu beef served with Shanghai pak choi in a Nippon san zoku sauce.
A range of classic and signature cocktails are served alongside a wine list with a slight slant toward the old world. Keep an eye out for party menus and special set lunches, too.
