This bright and modern neighbourhood Indian restaurant on the Fleet Road, near Hampstead Heath tube, has been serving up classic curries for over 25 years. Fleet Tandoori's rubyred shop front and welcoming interior – with magnolia walls, wooden floors and fresh flowers – is staffed with super-friendly waiters and an expert team in the kitchen who are renowned for their spicy fare. The restaurant is always filled with Hampstead regulars, and popular dishes include the Lamb Shahi Monipuri cooked in a slow tomato, garlic and fresh mint sauce; the cod fish curry steamed in a spicy sauce with fresh herbs; and the Chicken Tikka Masala.
