Light and airy Fresco is furnished with bright yellow walls and rustic wooden furniture. The kitchen rustles up salads and sandwiches for customers swinging past for a quick takeaway, plus cooked meals for those sticking around and taking a seat.
Huge portions of meatballs arrived with potatoes, rice and salad (£8), and mixed meze plates came packed with falafel, tabouleh, moutabal garnished with pomegranate seeds, houmous, stuffed vine leaves and aubergine in yoghurt (£9).
The juice machine whirs almost constantly as the efficient, friendly staff make fresh juices and refreshing fruit milkshakes. A perfect place to refuel.
