Gelatorino’s website promises many exciting flavours, all made on site and without any artificial colours and preservatives. Sadly, none of the more interesting ones, such as cinnamon and orange or ‘breakfast in Turin’ (coffee with chocolate chip) were available on our visit, so we had to opt for a more classic selection: a very creamy chocolate chip, a nutty gianduja and a dense dark chocolate. All were fine tasting and spot-on in their velvety smooth texture, but the outstanding flavour was fig ripple, a rich, cream-based ice-cream with strands of juicy figs.

We also liked that for £3 you get three different flavours (one more than most other ice-cream parlours offer); staff are happy to offer tasting spoonfuls too. As you sit at a little side bar or at one of the tables at the back, you can watch two old-fashioned Italian ice-cream machines working their magic. Italian biscuits, chocolates and nougat are also sold.

Their affogato both expresso and gianduja is to die for :-)

I'm Italian and I LOVE gelato. I've tried many gelaterias here in London and so far this is THE BEST one. The flavours are quite classic and the taste and texture are absolutely genuine. The gelato is not too creamy as it is in the majority of the ice-creams shops around town. I don't like chocolate, but I die for their melted gianduja, especially in the cone and on top of it. The reason I love gelato so much is that makes me happy and at the Gelatorino also the guys have this effect on me. They're very friendly, very Italian and always happy to have a chat.

Not bad but definitely not made entirely there, the hazelnut is good but they have to work a lot on the other flavours, sometimes they are icy some others they lack of taste. J.

I'm Italian and Gelato lover. Gelatorino could be a very good Gelateria in Italy too. The best Gelato in London for sure.

You HAVE to try Pear flavour not many gelateria have this and it tastes absolutely gorgeous here
